Static Field Detector for Sale
You can own a highly sensitive static field detector for paranormal activity.
After 6 months of continuous use of 3 prototypes I am highly confident in the design.
It was great fun laying out the PCBs and building these units (now dubbed SFD1): they are ready to ship.

I made a mistake on the voltage regulator foot print; will submit a revision soon. Quack quack!
ReplyDeleteWith the U2 voltage regulators installed correctly, the circuit draws only 6mA (not 60!); meaning that it should run for 83 hours on a 9V battery. If you were to order the original PCB, you would have to ignore the U2 silkscreen and use the 78L05 datasheet to orient the part.
